Violet Crown
Houston Fish Law is proud to sponsor the Violet Crown Sports Association, a cornerstone of Austin’s cycling community since 1981. Born from a shared passion for the sport, Violet Crown has grown into the on of the longest-running cycling clubs in Texas, with more than 300 members ranging from ages 5 to 85.
As a 501(c)4 nonprofit, the club continues its mission to unite cyclists of all disciplines and skill levels, promoting cycling through racing, group rides, and over 1,000 volunteer hours annually. At Houston Fish Law, we believe in the power of community and the freedom of the ride—values that align perfectly with Violet Crown’s spirit and legacy.
The Driveway Series
Every racing season, hundreds of cyclists gather every Thursday night for The Driveway Series in East Austin. As the largest weekly criterium series in the nation, Houston Fish Law is proud to be a longtime sponsor. Most weeks you’ll see Brad announcing the race while Kevin pushes his VO2 to the max in the P1/P2/P3 race.
Breakfast Club
Back in 2020, a friend of Brad and Kevin’s started a spirited Saturday ride that ended with a laidback breakfast. That small weekly gathering grew exponentially to become one of the largest group rides in the country. Brad and Kevin are proud to be among a team of amazing Breakfast Club Ride Leaders, where they lead different speed groups and promote road safety both on and off the bike.
Capital City Racing
Since its first Six Shooter event back in 2012, Capital City Racing has been putting on a great show for racers and spectators alike. Run by friends of the firm, Brett and Veronica Kinsey, Houston Fish Law has sponsored these thrilling gravel and cyclocross race events for 10 years and counting.
